Looking to get a pre-built for around £999. Will be mainly used for 1440p 144hz for Multiplayer gaming, as I have a Series X and PS5 for Single-player stuff. This looks promising, but gonna shop around a bit and see if I can come up with something below a grand. Heat added, as this will be a good option if I can't find anything that shaves a bit off

Looks a good deal. Worthwhile upgrading to a 4080/4070 TI?

That motherboard has weak VRM's without heatsink. The 14600k will be wasted by the inevitable thermal throttling and high temps. B760M PG RIPTIDE (+£82) is much better suited.

Does have AG400 Cooler for assistance, and the same board that was done by AWD and no reported issues, B760M PG Riptide certainly is much better if u have the cash though.

Could build better if you find items individually from HUKD

could you possibly recommend a decent system for around £800-ish please?

It's for an elderly relative who intends to keep this as their last computer and doesn't intend to upgrade in the future.

It won't ever be used for gaming, but as a home/office PC, maybe for a bit of photoshop work (just editing photos, nothing intensive). They would like a fast booting, snappy windows experience, so I guess an m.2 boot drive and 16-32gb ram(?) I know a basic non-gaming system will probably cost much less, but this is the remit and the budget they've given me! Their thinking is they'd rather spend more now and not have to upgrade it later.
