Is this the same one that Costco did but £60 cheaper?

One says 8508 and the other 8808 as model number. If it's the same Costco can have it back

Answered it myself. For anyone else wondering

As for its LED line-up, Philips has confirmed two new models for its ‘The One’ Performance Series, in the form of the 8808 and 8508, promising to deliver all the quality “of a more premium model, but at a mid-range, ultra-competitive price.” As with the MiniLEDs, these TVs will use the upgraded 7th-Gen P5 processor and three-sided Ambilight system, with both targeted for a Q2 2023 release.

The 8808 will be available from 43 inches up to an 85-inch display, with the 8508 series only going up to 65 inches. The 8808 edges out its sibling in terms of having a WCG panel supporting Dolby Vision with 4K/120Hz “to guarantee the optimum gaming performance”, compared to the 8508’s 60Hz, with the latter also featuring DLG and HRS technology “to deliver 4K 120Hz content with the motion smoothness and near sharpness of a native 120Hz panel”. My Philips from the recent Costco deal is 8800 model, not 8808. At least this is what's written on the box, I'm looking at it now. Maybe that's the series, rather than the model number.
And yes, 120hz and hdmi 2.1. This one is different. I set up mine 2 days ago. I like it. I just don't understand the ambilight 3 sided instead of 4 sided...
Even if it was the same, I think it is worth paying £60 extra for 5 year warranty. (edited)

Terrible panels with high fault rates

Backlight failed on ours just after 5 years.
Easily replaced with LEDs from Ali Express but if you get 5 years out of this you'll be doing well.

Reviews about Philips support are not good.
Not covered if you get a horizontal line across the screen and there are other faults they don't cover.

My Sister didn't have any problems dealing with RS when the TV tuner died.

3 years on my bedroom Philips TV and it started to flicker so I agree with the poor panel comments.

Managed to do a temporary fix with some sellotape over some connectors on one of the ribbons but who knows how long that'll last

Definitely wouldn't touch a Philips again without minimum of a 5 year warranty and expecting to bin it soon after that.
