It's a good deal, but is it any better than my Poco F3. I'm sure it's not..
Will be waiting in anticipation for the Poco F6 or F6 Pro...

Looks like the F5 isn't the same quality as the F3 .....

Is AliExpress safe? Is there any risk of buying a knock-off or dodgy phone?
    1234emk's avatar
It's as safe as ebay or buying from Amazon's marketplace. Your buying from an seller. In this case it "seems" to be from poco themselves and there's a ton a positive feedback so i wouldn't expect a fake. There is the risk of a broken phone or one damaged in transit or getting lost along the way but usually a credit card or PayPal can provide some security. You also won't get a warranty. You have to way up the pros and cons to see if it's worth it for you.

Snapped one with the Aliexpress anniversary code £35 off over £250 (collected voucher earlier, don't think it's available now) and paid in USD so just under £224. Topcashback 5% also helped a bit!

Good luck in getting AliExpress cashback from TCB, they used to be great, but over the last year they have stopped paying up!

Is it cheaper to pay with a revolut card in USD? (edited)

Previously had the F3, loved it, bought this and had it for a month, returned it and went back to my Pixel 6.
Great performance in games, screen was nice, but was disappointed with the speakers and camera quality. photos on the camera app they were fine, slightly worse than my Pixel, but on snapchat... the selfies looked like a phone from 2010, completely unusable. Mind you, I paid £349. At £220 it's a great phone, as long as you don't use snapchat or care about the speakers not being the best.

You won't have good pictures taken with any Poco, they had to cut something to get this amazing price
