Thanks, that one brings it down to £243.44 for me

I feel it's overpriced for 8th Gen even in a convertible form factor with decent build quality. Also the biggest problem with this model is failure prone batteries, or at least ones that degrade faster than you'd like. I've seen plenty of these systems with low cycle counts (under 200) that are rated 'Fair' or worse in the BIOS, that means under 50% health. Not sure why this particular model is so susceptible to it.

Also, not nitpicking, but the two videos in the summary are for the 7390 not the 7390 2-in-1, very distinctly different systems despite the similar naming. The standard 7390 is quite reliable, serviceable and less fault prone. (edited)

Not a good experience with this laptop. Few months back I bought it. Initially gave battery issues. It was not holding up. Then after 2 months, started with black screen. Then they send replacement. On replacement one, one of the charger point was not working. I'm short, I felt they don't really fix all issues before selling under pre-owned or refurbished category. Hence I returned and took the refund.

I rather suspect that with most vendors "refurbished" means:
    1. does it turn on?
    2. Any obvious damage?
    3. Reinstall Windows
    4. Done
Occasionally they might swap parts around but probably only easily swapable ones like RAM or SSDs..

As for this model? Well, 2-in-1 laptops are simply more fragile unless they are industrial ones like a ToughBook. Dell's 7000 series are top Latitude but most modern business grade laptops have gone down in quality in the last few years compared to the ThinkPad T's of yesteryear. That 2-3mm thinner obsession (aka following Apple) is largely responsible for that and maintability has suffered the most.

It also depends on usage. Those who only want a laptop to plunk on a desk and attacha monitors, can easily get by with something like a Dell Latitude 3000 series (all plastic chassis) with the same CPU for about £90 on eBay. Those who want portability, maybe the normal version of these? Those who love to smear their laptop screens with their fingers and are looking for a 2-in-1 in good condition? This might suit them. It's old AF but probably decent enough at the right price. I did own this bought used myself at least 4 or 5 years back

    How old is the laptop?

Pretty old tbh. It's got a CPU 6 generations old now. It's still good for general tasks though.

    Any other 2-in-1 recommendation then?
