I have the Ryzen 7 version of this. The actual battery life from
just browsing and watching youtube etc is like 4hrs. Don’t fall for any of these all day battery life gimmicks.

with that being said it is an extremely light (just under 1.3KG) and it does have a tiny fast charger included which is great.

I find that the OLED panel is fantastic and I never really use more than 20% brightness as I use it indoors only and its already vibrant at 20%.

Max brightness is very bright at 400nits and thats where I would get seriously worried for burn in

For battery life: try disabling Lenovo WiFi security via Vantage app. And check if there are any unnecessary apps that running constantly in the background via TaskManager

I recently got Lenovo after returning del.. only bought it half-hearted due to good specs .. but was surprised with solid build, and those f1 buttons had the day to day things that I need in proper order, i.e., from calculator, etc, and it worked right out of the box... so it changed my perspective about Lenovo if it helps anyone (edited)

Had this laptop for a few months (not this exact spec). The build quality is really good and the screen quality is by far the best I've had albeit I've never had an OLED laptop. Colours are extremely vibrant but can be switched to different colour modes, more than bright enough. 90fps paired with the low latency nature of OLED makes the clarity of moving text etc really good.

The speaks are something I wasn't expecting to impress me this much, they sound just as good as a MacBook air if not better in my opinion. Great clarity at high volumes, solid base, decent sound stage.

Build quality is great too, the screen is super thin but feels sturdy. Performance is pretty great useful for normal notebook activities but can be pretty decent at some lower and medium demanding games. I get around 40/50 fps on Forza 5 whilst plugged in, good in a pinch. Don't do photo/video editing myself but online review rate it.

I wish there was just 1 single USB A port, even one of those expandable ones. The fans are almost always on like most notebooks, not loud or an unpleasant tone but just a slightly contrast wurring. No finder print reader but windows hello is fast.

Is the 7640S the same as the 7640HS? Can't find anything on Google regarding the S variant
    s10's avatar
Afaik The S variant is specifically for Lenovo. It may be a special U variant or a special HS but it really isn't clear

I thought "yoga" was Lenovo's trademark for their laptops that flipped all the way round, like a 2in1/hybrid? Do they just slap the name on anything now?
