About this deal

Decent camera imo.

Specs:

1080P 30FPS or 720P 60FPS for full HD or ultra-smooth streaming: Crisp, clear, vibrant—capture your setup and personality in great visual fidelity that makes your content even more enjoyable to watch, or switch to high frame rate at 720p 60fps for an ultra-smooth video.
Equipped with Auto Focus To Always Stay Sharp: The Razer Kiyo X is smart enough to maintain focus on you at all times, so you’ll never have to worry about looking blurry as you move about, change position, or show objects to the camera.
Fully Customizable Settings To Suit Your Needs: Toggle between Auto and Manual focus, choose between various image presets, or create your own profiles by tuning its Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, and White Balance all through Razer Synapse 3.
Flexible Mounting Options To Fit Any Setup: Get the perfect angle every time with a stable webcam mount that sits snugly on your monitor, can be tilted up or down, or detached so that the webcam can be mounted on a tripod.
Compact and Portable To Create Content Anywhere: The webcam’s compact foldable form hardly takes up any space in your backpack, while its USB 2.0 connection makes it easy to set up no matter where you’re streaming from.
Plug and Play To Get Started Quickly: The Razer Kiyo X works right out of the box with Razer Synapse 3 and is compatible with popular streaming programs, making it a seamless addition to your setup that requires minimal fuss.

I don't know if it's the same as it was for the Kiyo Pro, but if it is, watch out for the Razer Synapse software. It was unbelievable how frustrating it was to get it to sync and change settings on the camera with it, and it wouldn't allow the Windows utility to change it all.

I expect it will be, and agree that the software is a right pain the rear.

Will it stay affixed to the monitor when rocked vigorously back and forth?

I do a lot of gaming with peripherals.

The camera plugs into your computer with USB, it does not connect using wi-fi, if that is what you mean.
