sorted byI paid a tenner a few years back, still fine, but they aren't worth full price imo
I have a bottle opener and a soap dispenser and they are both a pain in the bum to use
On paper they seem such good ideas, the draining board has this ability to extend and has a swivel drain hole to prevent water stagnating. In practice though, while they made it do those things, they failed in the most basic of functions, to hold plates and bowls properly. There is no angle I can put a plate on the thing where it does slide over to almost horizontal, and I'm talking normal, everyday, round plates, dishes can only go in facing down, you can fit about three.
The soap dispensers are just dreadful. There's not much to get wrong with these, but they managed it. The one thing you need is the ability to press them and get soap with ease. But nope, that wasn't the important part to Joseph Joseph, the important part for them was they looked good, came apart easily to refill. So, the dispensing is almost an afterthought it seems. The mechanism is so firm, that to apply enough force the dispenser falls over, so you have to grip with the other hand but then you don't have a hand to dispense the soap into! It's soo annoying. And when it does dispense it doesn't give enough, so you have to keep pressing it, while it slips around in your wet hands. We bought two, they were equally annoying so wasn't a fault. We've since bought some cheapos off amazon that work way better!
Finally the clothes basket. I've never had to put together something so simple, that was so challenging. It would have been easier to dress wild bear in a morning suit, than put that cheaply made piece of tat together. I managed it, after hours of shouting at it with fury. Now it does function as a clothes basket, but I could have saved about £50, and just bought a normal clothes basket!
The last one is on me, I was a fool that saw a deal, on here. Learn from my pain!
I appear to have gone on a rant. Sorry (edited)
