I dont trust Quidco one bit, but I'll try it cos I have to order some printing ink, so it'll be a bonus if they actually pay out

Edit: And true to form, Quidco are so useless, opting in is just taking me on a loop! Opt-in, click on 'shop now', spins around, back to opt-in.....and repeat.

They are a truly dreadful organisation and reminds me why I havent touched them in years! (edited)

Don't use the shop now button after opting in to the bonus.
Chances are you've clicked through from HUKD to the Quidco bonus page, then you'll have HUKD tracking cookies on your eBay session, so Quidco won't track or pay out.

After opting into the bonus, close all your sessions, start a brand new clean browser session, then click through to eBay from the normal Quidco eBay page.
Shouldn't get in any loops that way, and a much better chance of it tracking successfully.

anyone remember whether these offers work for multiple items to make up £5, and whether they have to be from the same seller?
    Wammer's avatar
I'm pretty sure it works for multiple items. It used to be that you had to spend £6, as cashback wasn't payable of the VAT. Not sure if that's still the case.
  3. WhiteGoose's avatar
Not letting me opt-in when I click the banner link (unlike the other opt-in offers). Have all the opt-ins been taken already?
    WhiteGoose's avatar
Working via the website but not the app for me.

Where is the opt in button? It directs to eBay even I click on the promotion button
    ukbren_'s avatar
It is playing up but if you click the "shop now" button on the smaller banner it should work.

Opted in fine. I’ve never had any problems with payouts from Quidco in over 10 years I’ve been with them.
    Wammer's avatar
I've been with Quidco since 2007, back in the days when you got £120 cashback for car insurance. They were great to start with, but went a bit rogue a few years ago. Cashback was constantly declined and it wasn't worth bothering so I stopped using them for a couple of years. Was tempted back by a good offer, with no expectation that it would be paid, but it was. They have definitely improved from that bad spell.

I literally just bought something over £5 on eBay seconds before seeing this
    Mr._E's avatar
Buy it again, message the seller and say to cancel the first one and say it's a mistake. (edited)
  8. futzer's avatar
Does this Threshold spend include postage? Ie.an item is £4.50 but postage is £1.50 therefore total = £6, will this satisfy the bonus?
    Wammer's avatar
    Not normally.
  9. gobbhudk's avatar
Anyone know if the eBay code CHICK15 works ok with this?
    Crossbow's avatar
Yes, as it's mentioned at Quidco.
  10. TwoJs's avatar
What happens when I want to make a best offer as now eBay in their stupid wisdom makes you pay automatically when you put a best offer in. I take it we can't link through now to make payments like that now ? (edited)
    Crossbow's avatar
This is true, not ideal. Wonder how one can get around this?
Perhaps go via Quidco (/TCB as applicable), put in your best offer in the same visit & hope the seller accepts your offer immediately.
If they don't, try again via the cashback site & your next best offer & so on.
Similarly if they make a counter-offer that you intend taking up - accept it only after going via Quidco & then it'll auto-pay in the same visit.
do you reckon the above will work?
  11. devdas121's avatar
Quidco is 0% trustworthy, I am still waiting to receive the bonus from last time./
    ahotukdeal's avatar
Agree. You can complain to the FOS but easier just sticking to Topcashback.
  12. RedBlackWhite's avatar
Has anybody’s purchase not tracked yet? Still waiting for mine to track and will cancel the order if it doesn’t soon.
    HappyShopper's avatar
I used this offer within a few hours of it being posted on HUKD.

The bonus, IIRC, tracked almost immediately but, at the time of writing, my purchase hasn't.

I really hope this isn't a sign of Quidco shenanigans.
  13. stec77's avatar
Good spot. Let’s hope it ends up payable! Heat!
    jd121's avatar
Haven't had one refused yet in the last 2 years. Well apart from Asda and my affordable mobiles one is still waiting on 8 months now.

    Redeemed, thanks.

Got a t-shirt on offer at half price for £10. Then £1.50 off with code, and £2.59 cash cashback. £5.91 for a £20 t-shirt delivered 🤪 (edited)

    Tracked fine
  20. Wammer's avatar
I'm stuck in a loop. The opt-in screen eventually appeared, clicked on "Shop now", got the screen that I was being forwarded to eBay, but it keeps taking me back to Quidco, not eBay. Will try clearing cookies to see if that works.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Once you've opted in to the bonus, you can shop eBay via the standard Quidco eBay page (edited)
  21. fatLamb's avatar
If like me, you are searching for the list of selected sellers to use with 'their' 15% off code, the code is CHICK15 and looks like a general ebay code rather than a Quidco specific one. The retailers are the usual suspects - too long to paste here but can be found here. (edited)
  22. Wammer's avatar
My bonus has tracked already, but not the purchase yet.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
eBay takes 12 to 24 hours to track normally.
  23. jd121's avatar
Cheers mate. Opted in on 4 accounts. Time to order some vape coils lol.

I’ll stick with complete savings 10% or 15% over various times
    Willy_Wonka's avatar
    ? if you spend £10 its 25%

It would be silly to stick with complete savings on that one purchase
  25. RealDash's avatar
Says I have opted in when I click on it, but it does not show in my tracked activity so I know I wont get it.
    Wammer's avatar
How long ago did you order?
  26. farzana.ali's avatar
I feel like quidco is not as good as it was some time back.. I’ve stopped using it what do others think?
    Wammer's avatar
I stopped using Quidco for ages. I was tempted back to try them again when they had a good bonus or something and found them better than they were for a while. Last year they had £20 bonuses for selected accommodation and holiday extras. I was able to use both and got £20 bonus + 54p cashack on a Travelodge I paid £26.99 for and it was paid.
  27. BargainBros's avatar
But eBay and PayPal charges gobble up any savings so cold for me

Any ideas if the item I brought this morning at 8am qualifies even though I didn't opt in until later in the day :/

I did this once with the Topcashback bonus and it still paid out, I did opt into it immediately after the eBay transaction completed when I realised though!
  39. stec77's avatar
Is anyone else struggling to get redirected from Quidco to Ebay? When I click through get the deal it takes me back to the opt in page!

Will this stack with the £5 off a purchase in the Ebay app? (not that i can figure out how to get that to work)
