Resident Evil 4 in PSVR2 is probably one of the best gaming VR experiences and worth it alone.

Recently completed TLOU2 Remastered - epic experience. Trouble is, found it really hard to find a good enough game to move on to. Thank goodness for RE4! New Game + and my jaw is dropping all over again. Just unlocked the Hand Cannon with infinite ammo (S+ Ranking on Mercenaries took about an hour) so much fun awaits.

Still too expensive for what it offers imo (edited)

sony are testing pc sync, and will roll it out soon, so in theory if the exposure to pc library is a guarantee , its worth every penny.

no good. Fresnel lenses and no option for wireless.

This was as dead as it was announced. Meta for the win.

GT7 is brilliant, RE is brilliant and most of the Indi games are available cross platform and perform better. Pc support is supposedly coming too.

The Meta Q 2 I have is hardly used now.

The PSVR2 is going to be the 21st century equivalent of their Betamax technology in the 80s.

Someone give me a shout when it's about £241. Tech looks great but I'm not spending as much on a peripheral as I spent on the whole console, not to mention it doesn't have a great outlook on software support and it seems like Sony has stopped developing games for it themselves altogether.

Go to Cash converters in 2026 it should be that used price by then. To help give you some perspective the Quest 2 new is currently selling for £200 so you're not getting these at that price for a while yet.

Looking forward to seeing how Sony implement PC connectivity because that could truly help sales take off.

It will still be tethered though

I like the improvement in the hardware, and going oled was the right thing to do, but Sony, i am unwilling to once again loss all my digital vr games from only the last psvr, so if you want me to upgrade from the psvr1 to psvr2, then you need to make all my psvr games run on the psvr2, or upgrade them all to psvr2 versions, but until then, i am out.

Too expensive just to play gt7.

    Then play more games

If it was PC compatible at no extra cost I think I would have it.

These will plummet in price maybe I'll bite at 200....just maybe

these for 200? no chance, not any time soon for those specs

Wires kill it for me. I have crazy cats.

Read they’ve paused production- doesn’t sound promising

Could just be because there’s a glut in the market, although I can’t see it clearing in a rush without discounting further.
  13. BrianButterfield's avatar
Considering Sony are ditching it, I'd hold off lol.
    spiritual_mutant's avatar
i think sony are ditching VR exclusive development only. Once they clear the back log, they will produce more.

I bought used from EE for 330 and trust me it’s amazing gt7 re games plus u can play non vr games on big screen with 120hz and the games which support it it’s very good.
  15. Jarek_Soroka's avatar
Shame because they will need expensive cable to play on a pc.
  16. r.simsini's avatar
Will only buy if Golf+ is available on it.

Sony need drop price a bit more to reduce the stock.
Quest 2 only cost £199, it has better tracking, better corner clarify, and has more functionality.
Later this year the cheap version of Quest 3 will cost £199/£299
    Dribbles_MacTavish's avatar
Think the Quest Lite will be more of an upgraded Quest 2 rather than a cheaper version of the Quest 3 (judging by the latest rumours). I would also be very surprised if it went on sale for £199, given that the Quest 2 has only just dropped to that price, more likely to start at £299

For those interested in buying one this is a great price for the bundle. As mentioned already, GT7 is incredibly good in VR, and that's all I play on mine. For me, it's worth it for this game alone.
  20. Degeneratemoo's avatar
Excellent price. I love mine and haven't played a non VR game since I got it. The cable is no issue at all.
  21. MrSpaceMonkey's avatar
I’ve seen lots of positive comments about GT7 and this but a few concerns about the lower graphics quality and initial disappointment. Like others I’m not sure I can justify at this price without giving it a go first.
