    Is Poznan worth visiting?

I liked Poznan, great museum about the 1956 uprising, other bits and pieces. 7 days would be too much I would think, but other nearby locations like Lodz are worth visiting as well and the Polish rail company PKP are easy to use and cheap to buy tickets

great deal but you have to sit backwards in your seat, put your arm over your neighbours shoulder and bounce up and down for the whole flight.

Well that's one way to join the mile high club

Thanks for the advice. I've been to Krakow twice and Gdansk so it probably won't be too dissimilar. (edited)
