Currently a £100 off voucher on this heat pump tumble dryer on Amazon.

Went with this one over the recent deal for an AEG (around a similar price) due to the 5 year warranty.

It's free delivery with prime (not sure how much it is for non prime)

EDIT:

The dryer has been installed this morning and is up and running with its first load of drying! Some of the comments had been questioning the features and extended warranty. Just wanted to give some peace of mind to anyone that's bought this/thinking of buying.

It does have reverse tumble (spins both directions during operation).

Amazon is included in the extended warranty promotion. I was able to select them form a list of selected retailers and activate the 5 years.

This, unlike the AEG that's hot ATM does not reverse spin.
Bedding and other large loads will tangle, and it will stop them drying properly sometimes.

I've got a HeatPump without reverse, it cost quite a bit, and it's a waste.
Do yourself a favour and get the AEG.

Which tumble dryer do you have?
Also are you sure that the AEG would be any different? A few people on that other thread saying that ALL tumble dryers reverse spin, but we just don't notice.

only issue with these is the filter seems not to seal correctly. This lets lint past it which then clogs up the fins of the heat exchange unit. My advise would be to go and buy a paint brush of the like to periodically clean the fins as it throws up the filter error every 3 or 4 uses.

Found link to filter. Basically cut to size and clean every month

How does thus compare to AEG 7000 that was posted last week?

It should do the same job, it is the same technology and both brands deliver on the dryer department. I think the AEG is preferred based on which reviews for it's typical price. Based on my knowledge of both I think the AEG will dry quicker but use slightly more electricity. The Samsung will run slightly longer cycles but use less electricity. Either way I would be happy with both and would probably pick this if it comes with a 5 year warranty. That would be the differentiator in my eyes. People may argue the AEG is more reliable but that can't be evidenced and the AEG only comes with 2 year warranty

At least with a white door it doesn't look like an Xbox Series S when pictured on HotUKDeals, which the washing machines, with their black doors, are wont to do.

AEG better even with less years warranty or pay more for the 9kg with 5 years warranty

No reviews on Amazon on this, what’s drying times like compared to a condenser one I need to try and convince the mrs and it not take hours more

Early days but towel setting just took about 1h50 for a fairly full load.

Which seems quicker than the heat pump grundig it's replaced. Need to use it more to be able to say for sure. 2-3h would be normal enough for a heat pump. (edited)

This looks very similar to the model I have (and unfortunately paid more for). I'm happy with it, it's very quiet and does seem much more energy efficient. Drying times are longer than previously but not to a terrible level
