Evo - enhanced
LG’s Evo panel maximised OLED’s already impressive picture performance. Brighter and clearer than ever, Evo is a big step up. Now, even Evo has just got better. With this LG 55 inch TV, you get new heat dissipation technology, which makes the picture even brighter than the original Evo screen. For lifelike, brilliant images, the LG OLED55G26LA is simply the best of the best.

Made for the wall – Gallery design
No deeper than a typical heating controller, this slimline, ‘Gallery’ design TV takes pride of place in your room, without dominating it. The latest G-series OLED TVs have a slimmer bezel for even sleeker style. The supplied wall bracket mounts the TV flush to the wall, giving this TV a stunning appearance. (Please note, stand not included but LG ST-G26ST55 stand is available as an additional cost option).

Alpha 9 Gen 5 processing for improved sound and vision
Now in its fifth generation, LG’s mighty Alpha 9 processor optimises sound and vision for spectacular results. Using AI technology, the picture and sound are optimised to best suit the genre – be it movies, sport, gaming or regular TV. With enhancements to picture tone-mapping, background enhancement and upscaling, picture processing is more advanced than ever. Virtual sound channel up-mixing increases from 5.1.2 to 7.1.2, giving an even more enveloping sound on the LG OLED55G26LA.

AI Picture /Sound Pro for professional sound and vision
Using a huge database of over one million visual date points, AI Picture Pro uses deep-learning algorithms to recognise content, remove noise and optimise the picture. AI Sound Pro leans from more than 17 million audio data points, identifying voices, effects and frequencies. From here, it optimises the sound by genre, giving a more natural sound quality.

Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Made for gaming – with Game Optimiser and more
The improved Game Optimiser utilises an enhanced gaming menu, giving you quick access to important settings. There are now five game genre presets, including a new one for sports games. Equipped with 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 sockets, this LG TV is designed to get the very best from today’s, and future, games consoles. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

4.2 multi-speaker system, AI Sound Pro and Dolby Atmos compatible sound
Featuring an enhanced, 4.2 speaker system, the OLED55G26LA offers more impressive sound than lower models. Power is also up 50% to 60 watts – giving a richer, room-filling sound. Using AI algorithms, AI Sound Pro up-mixes two-channel audio to virtual 7.1.2 sound – producing a much more immersive sound and enhanced dialogue. With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in, this LG 55” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for even more enveloping audio.

Welcome home, with LG webOS 22 – the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system continues to set the standard. The latest webOS 22 offers improved personalisation and recommendations. You can create up to six personalised profiles, with individual viewing suggestions, sport alerts and app lists.

NFC Magic Tap for content mirroring around your home
You can access your webOS TV profile via your smartphone with the NFC Magic Tap app. Even better, NFC Magic Tap lets you mirror content from your mobile to the TV – and not just a single TV. You can mirror content from one TV in your home, to another, using the Room To Room Share function. This lets you view cable or satellite content on multiple screens, without the need for additional set-top boxes.

The hub of your home entertainment – with voice control
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

    Amazing, this or the c3?
    usm_'s avatar
It’s trade off between slightly better panel with regard to brightness for G2 as it has heatsink. For C3 it has DTS audio format support, newer chipset (with newer image processing ofc) and it does have newer WebOS 23 but G2 will get that as well but some point this year as software update.

Honestly, You can’t go wrong with either of them. G3 on other hand is better than those two (due to MLA tech it has) but it is more expensive.

Another major difference is that C3 will have a stand. G2 doesn’t. It comes with slim wall bracket instead.

You can get third party stands for G2 by using its VESA mounting holes if you don’t want to use the wall bracket.

If you want more information between two. I would suggest checking out RTINGS’s comparison tool between two sets via this link:

For anyone asking or sharing a BLC code, I today received a permanent ban from the scheme for sharing a code on this site.
    Weimaraner's avatar
Could be quite a few bans on here mate. Sorry

Spent about an hour using Student Beans and Discounts for Teachers codes. Could get to the last stage (even Barclaycard had sent code to approve payment) following these: hotukdeals.com/com…852

    But then it failed.
My wife woke up and I logged into her BL account on the PC. Used the Edge browser to open the BL site and the LG site from within BL site (maybe cookies are important?). Went through with no messing at all with codes like above. I went to checkout and 10% was off, added the BLC code, took it down to £685 then went straight through.

I don't even need a new TV. Hotukdeals and school holidays are an expensive combo!!!

FYI - the BLC website does say that this TV is not included in the offer.. although that was for another 20% + 10% code stack that they were advertising.
    CheekyMunkey's avatar
Ah damn. Did exactly what you mentioned. Followed those instructions. Gets right o address but when I select next to get onto the payment screen it doesnt load. Ah soo damn close but no cigar lol

*Edit. Got to payment screen. Put in card details. Got a text to say barclaycard accessed but then doesnt let me place order. What a piece of shiz lol. I get a coupon error.

So in order which is the better will be wall mounted,55" version G2 , C3 B3.
Other than putting the price back up has the stacking of the 3 codes
    stopped working as well

G2, it's as thin as wall art & no gap mount makes it look exceptional either on or off

Yep. I bought C2 55 inch for £750 a few weeks ago from LG.

Then I noticed this price on the G2 55 inch a few days ago and decided to try and get this, and return the C2. Since G2 is a better TV and it was cheaper.

But then the G2 55 inch wasn't in stock and the G2 65 inch was. Someone had kindly given me a BLC code and I was nervous neither would come in stock again if I missed out, so I decided to spend the £960 on the 65 inch G2 lol.

Hmm just seen this ref the 5 year warranty...

**In the 1st year of the warranty, panel, parts, and labor costs are covered. In the 2nd - 5th year of the warranty, only panels are covered, and labor will be charged

I wonder how much labour they will charge to replace the screen in year 2-5 :/

Just had an email to say Shop item on hold despite getting a ‘booked delivery’ text
    SJ01's avatar
That's what happens anyway, for everyone and it turns up exactly on the day you booked via Panther who seem a great courier.
  16. CheekyMunkey's avatar
lol. I kept on just pressing buy, buy, buy... Error invalid code. Went to use another browser and logged into my lg account. Added the tv again in another browser... While still pressing buy buy buy on my first browser...Order accepted for 2 Tvs for £1,763.98 LOL. Each costing £881...

Im soo over this deal now. I have put in a cancel request. Its just not meant to be. I will accept it. I think my BL code got used to so cant even use it haha. Mental!

Anyone know where to get hold of the stand for it? They're listed on Amazon but won't let you checkout for some reason. Contacted support and they're looking into it. Can't find one anywhere else (edited)
    P1121's avatar
Can't help with finding the official LG stand but many don't rate it anyway as it holds the TV at a tilt back. Can happily recommend the stand I went with, Sanus VTVS1. Attaches to TV VESA mounting points. Available from Hughes Electrical through Amazon or even cheaper from Costco website
  18. Bobajob69's avatar
    finally managed to order one
Downloaded Brave browser to my android phone as suggested somewhere in the comments and the codes were accepted

UQDLG_TVBLC stacked with LG10 and 5% login. Went straight to LG site but had to use the brave browser. No others worked

    Not to be.

Look forward to all your posts and pics later in the week

Out of curiosity did anyone use discount for teachers, that's what I was using to get code (edited)

Only stackable codes with BLC codes
  20. P1121's avatar
Great deal, for those with BLC at least. No idea how so many seem to get those codes, thought was only for emergency services etc. Was lucky enough to get with a student code last week at £767. Students code don't seem to stack so readily with LG discounts. BLC seems to stack sometimes though, worth trying other browsers etc for those with BLC.
    iEimis's avatar
They are both the same code actually, it’s sheer luck whether you get the right sequence in. The trick does seem to be getting your 20% code in the basket and then signing up to a brand new account and hoping you arrive to the advertised price once you go back to basket
  21. ptgrav's avatar
Had one delivered today. It's a stunning telly, the supplied bracket mounts the telly flat to the wall. The sound out of it is very good. I think fitting a 200 x 300 vesa mount should be easy as it has the holes ready to go. Also should be easy to stand mount it using the same holes. Great telly, and well worth the £762 I paid for it.
    CheekyMunkey's avatar
Hey Mate. Does it also have a regular stand if you do not want to mount it on the wall?

Anyone know what size 3rd party stand to get for this and can you recommend a good one for around £30?
    InfoAddict's avatar
The best one I have seen recommended seems to be the Sanus Swivel TV Base VSTV1-B1. Cheapest at Costco £40.
  26. AB11's avatar
Easy to generate BLC code at discountsforcarers.com
But 10% code no longer works if you apply BLC

    This or the C3?
    Fareed_Patel5N5's avatar
I've been looking into this too. From what I found G2 is better. Has a heat sink, brighter. Comes with a wall mount which saves me buying one for the C3. Everything else is pretty similar imo

Anyone know how the VESA setup is on these. I have a old 55 sony setup in one of those media walls, am I gonna have to move the mount on the wall to get it too be centered or are they mounts all in the same place?
    Tarlok_Kharpal's avatar
If it helps anyone, I have this G2 55 inch model and have mounted on a old TV wall mount and had no issues using with this TV with the vesa mounting holes on the back of the TV.

Has anyone received delivery? I received a message that the delivery is delayed

    hotukdeals.com/com…852

This works to get the price down, but then fails at the end for me. See if you can get it to go through.
EDIT : I was using Student Beans and Discounts for Teachers 20% codes. These all expire in Dec. They failed. M<y wife just woke up and used her BLC code, worked straight away and no need to mess with doing codes in order etc.. (edited)

Hello! For anyone needing a BLC, I saw this code in the earlier comments and it worked for me:

    UQDLG_TVBLC

    Thanks to for the code!!

Pro tip: Stacking the codes to get this price worked flawlessly on the Microsoft Edge browser, but not Chrome. Good luck!!
