Inflation is rife in Turkey at the moment and its not cheap anymore expect similar prices to uk and do not change more currency into TL than you need and would advise not to bring any currency back. For example 5 years ago there was 3tl to the pound and now nearly 40TL to the pound , like Spain and Greece prices have shot up.
Marmaris should be quite pleasant at the end of April going into may and this price for 28 days is very good. (edited)

Was in Marmaris last year, late September, TL was 20 to the £....prices adjusted locally so that a beer was between 2 and 3 quid a bottle, some places were doing 20TL a pint during the day but most 2 quid a go...the food was still cheap and offset the booze prices a lot. Spirit drinkers were getting robbed for 100 TL a large drink but some places did do good offers...all in all its gone up a bit but you just can't put a price on the weather...SCORCHIO.....

A friend lives there and has told me how prices have just gone through the roof. It's actually worse than UK prices for lots of things

Absolutely love this place. Small, friendly, great pool and bar area and situated more towards the quieter part of Marmaris towards Icmeler. (edited)

Doesn't tell the whole story. You might get a load more Lira for each Pound but they buy a lot less.

Best it's Antalya but people don't like to spend only cost like 150-250 extra overall

get your teeth done at the same time definitely saving the price of the holiday and your living costs while there. ( not an endorsement just a comment)
