I like to take the kids away for a couple of nights in the school holidays but as my kids only have the Easter Week off (1 April week) trying to find anything reasonable has been a nightmare.
So when looking to visit a friend, was fairly surprised to be able to get a couple of Premier Inns in Weston-Super-Mare for £35 a night. Seems to be availability in a couple of them and I can seem to book any combination of nights.
Weston itself has a nice beach, good pier, it's a nice English Seaside resort. I also like the Brean Theme Park. But there is plenty to do in the local area.
Thought I'd share as it's fairly short notice and getting a Premier Inn at that price in school holidays takes some doing. I'm guessing they've had a cancellation.

Can't speak for anyone else, but my kids are more than happy running around a beach, throwing endless 2ps into a slot machine and going on a few rides. We took them to Disneyland Paris at half term, I can't imagine this trip will be any less enjoyed (and I will no doubt enjoy it more)
Those moaning I challenge you to find somewhere else by the sea at that price. (edited)
