I have this for long time, paired with Three unlimited data sim for £6 a month. Grand total for everything unlimited - £8 a month.

Where do you get the Three unlimited data SIM from?

    Wasn't this 72 quid yesterday?

    It was(n't).

Poster yesterday assumed Swap 24 was a 2 year contract. It's not.

Until they double the cost a few months later

They can't double the cost. At point of purchase the SIM is free. The cost here is for the handset which is a 3 year loan at 0% which is fixed and can be paid off any time.

I have this deal and the £0 part has just gone up to £1, so 3 pounds overall. Am in process of speaking to them about this increase as ses ridiculous but I can pay off phone and cancel.

    Ooh.

Gives me an idea - could convert this to an eSIM and keep it just for the minutes and texts.

I cashed in some Piggy Bank rewards and pay 95p per month for this.

Just pondering if this would be worthwhile to replace the lebara sim that is soon to expire. I only use the text for that and not data.  (edited)

Don't ponder, go for it, main reason being comparable (works out more or less the same) price to LEBARA if you look at it over long term, no chopping and changing every 3 or 6 months, whatever the honeymoon period and bsst of all no port dance if you wanted to keep your number 💃

Sorry am confused. This is posted as a 36 month deal at £2 per month. So how exactly has the OP costed it as £108. That is based on £3 a month which is not what this deal is on for?

    Or am I missing something??

On the SIM maybe. No not the phone. And if the SIM goes up, you can cancel.

If you only use your phone in the UK then this is a great deal to keep your mobile number active and available with inclusive minutes and texts for £2 for 36 months.

The only downside for me is that I regularly travel to the EU which would cost £2 a day if I should need to make a call or send a text.

Having O2, which I pay a fiver a month giving me freedom to roam in the EU with inclusive calling and texting and enough data to not need another SIM suits me.

The great thing about dual SIM phones, or using eSIM, is the ability to combine different SIMs providing total coverage for a budget price.

    Heat added.
