i9 should really be paired with 32GB, or at least have the option to upgrade.
    Still, it's a decent spec.

    i9 is marketing nonsense.

Anyone know how this charges, is it type C or something else. Seems to only say it is a three pin charger
    Ian_Stinson's avatar
It’ll be type C - I have a slightly older version. Other useful tip is their warranties are very cheap something like £50 for three year. Including accidental damage.

this seems to be a good price for an i9 13th gen only 6 month old laptop with oled and 1tb SSD and 16gb ram ive seen i5s and non oleds for mid 500s, this seems to be cheap for the specs to me. thanks OP

    Epic specs.

    Strong processor.
    Generous RAM.
Great display running at silky-smooth 120Hz.
    Massive 1TB storage.
    Incredible Windows 11 OS.

Can't believe the price. This spec would cost £2000+ from Dell.

Strange comment 16gb RAM I wouldn't describe as generous more like 'minimum' for a laptop in 2024.

    Also 1tb is hardly 'massive'.

2.8k screen in 14 inches but in their 15.6 inch laptops mostly full hd

LMAO. pull the other one. Was the marketing team on crack when they came up with that?

I've just purchased an Asus OLED laptop from a previous deal. As you would expect, movies and any video content looks amazing. However, the MyASUS App has a colour processing feature called Splendid, and it gives the display a warm tone that cannot be removed. This results in whites not being brilliant white. The screen is also bad for text rendering, making text look fuzzy, unless zoomed, which sharpens it. Deleting the App doesn't solve the issue, as it removes the functionality of brightness control, as well as the back-lit keyboard. I've had to go into the program files and individually remove Splendid files to remove the warm tone and improve the whites. So, for video content and movies, these Asus OLEDS are awesome. However, for office, admin and reading, it's going to cause eye strain.

    anyone know whether ram upgradeable?

Any idea on whether this could run CoD WarZone relatively well? Appreciate there’s no dedicated graphics but would love 120hz WarZone gaming even at a reduced resolution. Thanks
    MagicBoy's avatar
    LOL, no.

does anyone know if the rams upgradable?
    MagicBoy's avatar
    Nope. Soldered down, no slots.
