Product description
Product code: 82716424

This ASUS Vivobook laptop helps take your productivity to the next level. Thanks to a super-speedy processor, you'll be able to power through complex tasks quickly and easily. 8GB of RAM delivers smooth performance when multitasking, and thanks to the 15.6" Full HD screen, you'll get a really clear, crisp picture; perfect for streaming your favourite dramas. Plus, with 256GB of SSD storage, loading and boot times are super-fast and responsive, right from start-up.

Keep in contact
Thanks to the onboard camera, this device, once connected to Wi-Fi, will let you take part in video chats or virtual meetings, enabling the fun of the office to come to you.

AMD Ryzen 5 processor
With the AMD Ryzen 5 processor in this laptop, you'll easily handle day-to-day tasks like word processing, image editing, and web browsing.

Its 4-core, 8-thread design keeps everything running smoothly, and you'll also be able to enjoy a spot of casual gaming too.

A solid performer
The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs. This laptop packs 8GB of RAM; plenty if you have to have lots of tabs open and like to multi-task between apps.

Super-fast loading with lots of storage
The 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD) gives you the capacity to store documents and media, while ensuring speedy and dependable access to your files and programs. It'll boot up in a flash, and there'll be enough space for photos, videos, music, and more.

Great entertainment
The Full HD display means all your favourite films and games will look just as incredible as they do on TV, with the built-in sound system providing crisp, clear audio to accompany whatever's on-screen.

Connecting your other devices
Connect to TVs or external displays with the HDMI output. Listen to music using a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connect to high-speed peripherals with the USB ports, and send data wirelessly between devices using Bluetooth.

For anyone wondering, non upgradeable ram.
    Solee's avatar
Still don't get why they do this, just let people upgrade the RAM

Good budget notebook with OLED screen and Zen 2 processor. One disadvantage is that most likely it can't be charged over USB-C - so have to carry with the laptop the proprietary Asus charger (that's not even compatible with most other Asus models).

    Processor
    AMD Ryzen™ 5 7520U Processor 2.8GHz (6MB Cache, up to 4.3GHz, 4 cores, 8 Threads);

    Display
    15.6-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) OLED 16:9 aspect ratio, 0.2ms response time, 60Hz refresh rate, 400nits, 600nits HDR peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,000,000:1, VESA CERTIFIED Display HDR True Black 500, 1.07 billion colors, PANTONE Validated, Glossy display, 70% less harmful blue light, TÜV Rheinland-certified, Non-touch screen, - (Screen-to-body ratio)84%;

It’s a small lightweight square charger block so not much of a disadvantage

Is this a good laptop for the money? It is for someone who uses it for watching movies on a daily basis and internet use.
    Ziggypoptastic's avatar
Will have a great screen for that so yeah.

Shame about lack of USB C charging, otherwise it's a good value for money
    C0mbat's avatar
    Mine charges via USB C

I'm surprised that anyone would think that an OLED screen for a computer is a good idea.

    Works great here....

I have a different Vivobook model and the battery has always drained quickly from new (2hrs max) Wondering if it’s all the ASUS junk software causing the issue.

Anyone had similar issues ? (edited)

I have this laptop and the battery is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro that it replaced. I probably get 4 hours from it under fairly heavy use. Not great but not any different than most other laptops and at the higher end for OLED. (edited)

Pity there's no HDMI input to use it as a monitor.

Well, unaware of any laptop, or indeed branded desktop, that has this so hardly a shock

    There is also this currys.co.uk/pro…tml?sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=47868&awc=1599_1712119682_9d114f621bd6c5e1adf502dcf5d10060&srcid=369&xtor=AL-1&cmpid=aff~HotUKDeals~Discount%20Code~47868~Pepper+Deals+Ltd&sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=47868

That costs £250 more and is a totally different specification.

Will blender run well on this?
    thebaldconvict's avatar
It is pretty slow and only 8GB of RAM so it might run but I wouldn't suspect "well"
