Prices are set to go up from here so if you need storage, now is probably a good time.

    P.s also no it won't work in a PS5.
    Forp_Rezi's avatar
Why are prices going to go up? Supply/Manufacturer trouble or something?

Any good ROG Ally? In terms of speed
    pete.bones's avatar
Plenty fast enough for ROG Ally, you will need either an L adapter or small case mod to fit this length in though

Got the 4TB version of this for £161 when ebay had a 20% off code - good drive.

    Just found this morecoco.co.uk/a?p…art

Not as fast but possibly the cheapest 2TB gen 3 drive going?
  4. peter.newman's avatar
Is this suitable for a ps5 and is there a heatsink option?
    Salad_Fingers's avatar
It's not compatible. You need a gen4 drive for ps5.

Thanks, I've been meaning to upgrade my laptops storage, I should have done it when you could get a 2tb 2280 for £60 (albeit a generic brand)

Anyone has it working with pi4?
  16. JeanDeLaFontaine's avatar
Impossible to resist now, unless you want Gen 4, but then also pay extra for the speed.

Probably really stupid question but can this be used as an external hard drive (With a enclosure)?
    kane_th_gaming's avatar

Hey guys I have the 2tb P3 plus already would it make a difference if I had the normal one on as well or they have to be the same SSDs?
    imnotnath's avatar
They don’t have to be the same

  20. wipe0wt2097's avatar
Very good deal considering 2tb has gone up massively and forget the 4tb Strewth….I thought stuff would go down not up, I paid £184 for 4tb lexar 790 6 months ago and now it’s £240!!
  21. weiran's avatar
Great price thanks. Going to put it in one of those new USB4 enclosures off Aliexpress, hopefully can get close to 3GB/s as I’m using it to edit video.

This (presumably QLC?) or less known brand TLC SSD like Fanxiang (still a lot of positive reviews on Amazon)? It was similar price on Ebay last time there is a 20% off code.
    weiran's avatar
l always go with brand names with SSDs. Your data is not worth risking.

  27. ajay2606's avatar
