Tasting NotesNOSE: Complex, yet refined, with tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry, and nuts. Some oaky tannins.

PALATE: Full-bodied and robust, the sherry and the oak fight for your attention yet neither overpowering.

    Of the Glenfarclas range the 15 is the best bang for buck in my opinion…even if allowing for the hike in price the last year or two.

    The 21 and 25 could really do with a bit extra abv, and I love Glenfarclas as a distillery btw

    You’re better off with the Glendronach if those are your choices, although the price is crazy now. The Glenfarclas is at 43% and a little too soft I think. Another option would be Speyburn 18 if you are looking for a quality sherry whisky at a much better price
