Should come with a 2 year guarantee from Philips so wouldn't bother paying extra. Not sure if you need to register product though.

The Costco one is £29.98 with vat. The extra £7.99 gets you higher wattage 2600w more steam out 50g /min more steam burst and auto shut off. This deal is better. (edited)- Same price Curry's if it helps anyone - don't know who is price matching the other

AuthorI've had my eye on this for a while and when it's been on offer it's usually no less than £49. This will be replacing a Phillips Azur which has done us well for well over a decade. I have taken the 3 year cover which I wouldn't normally do, but as it was at a good price I thought why not. Plus, with most things, I won't expect over a decade from this one
I want an iron board that can be stored away in my wardrbe(hanged) this idea came from overseas resort ? Does such hing exist in the uk?
No, ironing board hangers haven't been invented in the UK yet- Does anyone kno the difference between this one and this which has been recommended by which? As their best buy

The azur in this deal doesn't state it does vertical steam. If you scroll fully down the amazon page for this deal there is a side by side comparison. The sole plates are also different. Unless you MUST have vertical steam (say for dresses) then this deal is much better value. Both are good irons. - Should come with a 2 year guarantee from Philips so wouldn't bother paying extra. Ordered, thank you- Got a 3 camels alert on this. Usually the cheapest it gets is around £39. Looks like the Curry's price is a clearance / discontinued as it ends .97 and that's the price Amazon must be matching.

We have this, it’s great! First one lasted 4 years, the second one we got in Feb 23. Just ordered again to keep as spare as the price is great.

Except for funerals & weddings have not ironed a single thing since 2015. I'm good at line drying & according to my wife I'm not after any fancy behaviours.
got this a few years back, no issues, apart from the water spray now doesnt work
I expect that's limescale, probably wouldn't happen if you used ironing water- Was going to get but after a steam generator iron.
My old one went with a big bang & flash of light yesterday resulting in power going off upstairs.
Not sure if i need to replace fuse but don't want to risk it.
