I got this in the deal last October and it's been good, although maybe wish I'd got a 16L instead but it does the job.

This is the power usage of mine after 12 hours. The peak I saw was 163w and the avg over the 12 hours is 130w. So about 3.1kwh a day, this was with it set to constant on, in reality you'll probably use a lot less, I have mine set to 55% and it only runs about half the time now.

Bought Meaco 20L from ebay for £207. Used 2 days now 10 hrs each day, extracted around 5 litres of water.

I had a cheap one under £100 which now I find was a waste of money and time. I have a room where the temp in winter was 12° and 70-80% (sometimes reaching 90-100%) humidity. Then I brought home a Meaco 20L. Within 24h (!!!!) humidity dropped to 40% and temp went up to 18°!!!
It's not even a month and the coldest room is the warmest now. The smell has changed.

Picked one of these up last time around. Superb! Great investment as only a few pence an hour to run, even at today's power prices! Use for it's main purpose but it's great at drying clothes indoors. No more moaning at the misses for bringing damp washing in the house as this just sucks that moisture straight out of the air anyway. Just buy one and see.

    Is it a 5G router?

    Is it a dehumidifier?

Or is it an air fryer?

Does anyone know if this one can be used with a smart plug?

I suspect not, as it looks to have a button to switch on and off. Usually those have to be pressed after the power comes on at the wall ...

    Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

12l one is good for small room only. If you wanna keep all your house nice and dry, just buy 20l one.

Just coming into Spring/Summer now so I guess demand has plummeted hence the low price? (edited)

Picked mine up yesterday. Its drying out the damp bedroom and I can notice the air changing for the better upstairs. Great investment and small enough to keep plugged in on the landing.

Does this pick up large spaces in house or just small rooms?
    doppo666's avatar
Go for a 20-25l for a whole house with doors open

Can you extract via a pipe straight out of the building for continuous extraction?
