About this deal
My husband has this bike for his commute. A great bike, cruiser style and quite long, he loves it.
The lights are bright and come on automatically, fitted mudguards & basket for lots storage etc. the basket doesn’t move when you turn which is a bit odd to start with but better for stability when riding.
A great bike for the money.

sorted byThis would have been a much better ebike if configured with a front hub motor, this would have taken huge amounts of wear off the hub gears and allowed more budget for a reasonable size battery, it would have increased range, reliability, performance and been far less of a throwaway product. Mid-drives are great on e-mountain bikes with low gearing but a very low power mid-drive motor with a small battery and high gearing achieves nothing really. It seems an un-necessary product hence the low sales and huge reductions in price to clear stock.
It's a beautiful machine, but very underpowered, there's a video of a lady absolutely struggling to ride this thing up a mild hill. She even had to stand up whilst pedalling.
Remember the 'SL' stands for super light. It's a bike built to be light, not powerful.
Also, proprietary parts: battery, motor and what have you. Meaning it will be expensive to maintain once out of warranty. (edited)
