The Fujifilm 18-55mm f2.8-4 R LM OIS XF Fujinon lens adds to Fujifilm's popular X-mount interchangeable series. The lens offers a versatile focal length that's suitable for a variety of shooting scenes, whilst maintaining a lightweight and compact size to complement the Fujifilm X cameras. The lens' bright f2.8-4 aperture range combined with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) allows you to capture crisp, blur-free images handheld in dimly lit environments. The linear motor-driven system delivers super-fast autofocus performance of 0.1 seconds to capture those once in a lifetime moments. Silent operation also makes the lens suitable for movie recording. The lens structure consists of 14 elements in 10 groups, including 3 aspheric and 1 extra low dispersion elements, and a seven-blade rounded diaphragm.

I caved in and bought having found out that it is discontinued. No body to go with it so i will hold onto it.... Hoping to get a good deal on an XT-5 or XH-2

Don't bother buying a body with a 40mp sensor. Theses lenses do not resolve much above 28-30mp. You images will not be sharpe. Stick to 26mp bodies.

I've purchased one... Eek. This might spur me onto searching for a Fujifilm body now. I got to trial run one of my classmate's X-T4 last weekend. The secondhand prices seem to be jumping up, not going down!

The OG. I believe these are going out of production soon aren’t they? What a shame. This lens was ahead of its time.

Hi have this and the sigma 18-50mm 2.8 throughout ... the sigma is superior to this having 2.8 throughout and picture quality on par... only annoying thi g is that it doesnt have a apperture ring

Will this fit into emos10 canon? (edited)

No, not without an adapter (and I don't even know if that exists). This is for Fujifilm X cameras with the X lens mount.

Fujifilm = the new Nvidia.... Only ppl who understand both markets will get my comment.

certainly sounds like it but all i can do is put it on my shelf and admire it. Cant get hold of a fuji body for the life of me!!

Just in case anyone's confused, Fuji has two xx-55 lenses, the very much celebrated 16-55 s and the one that's fairly often included with their cameras (mine was), the 18-55 (this one). If you're looking for reviews, make sure you know which one you're looking at! (edited)
