    That flight is to Arlanda, not Stockholm - the bus from Arlanda to Stockholm costs 640SEK = £47 return...

    Incorrect. Arlanda is the main airport in Stockholm and the price you mentioned is for the AirPort Express train. You can use flixbus for £6 each way to get to the centre with services running every 15/20 minutes.
