Just ordered 150Mbps Community Fibre via TCB Compare and you get £55 cashback plus a £70 Amazon voucher (instructions emailed after 100 days connected, then 90 days to redeem) effectively taking it down to £12.79pm (£306.96 for 24mths).
I have looked around on various comparison sites and this is the cheapest FTTH I found (for London obviously!).
Hey! Broadband does say that they will not increase prices for the length of the contract but it would still be £15.92pm (£382 for 24mths) after the £78 cashback and £20 Amazon voucher.
I have read somewhere that if you order from Community Fibre between Jan-April 2023 then they will not increase their price for new customers until April 2024. They are increasing it by 13.4% for existing customers this April 2023.
Also, when getting out of contract, Community Fibre appears one of the only providers to not increase their prices extortionately - only a £2 rise. I note that Vodafone (FTTC) raised my charge by only £2 out of contract, so I simply stayed with them until I found a decent deal. I am glad I did as I didn't realise FTTH was available in my area.
I was leafleted by Virgin that they were currently installing in my area but their deals and speeds are not as good in comparison and I don't care to get their TV package. My dad bought an Android IPTV box and it costs £70pa and he is very happy with it. Obviously, not so legal... (edited)
