This plan does not include roaming. Also, they don't have app so not convenient when only can check usage in browser. Allowances are very low too.

You can check balance via text message, it's not the most convenient but no issues I got this for my mother in law

Thinking this might be a useful SIM to place inside a GPS tracker for your car. Has anyone tried it before?

I believe you need to send a text or make a call at least once every 90 days otherwise they block the SIM until you call to reactivate it.

They say they don't do this on pay monthly SIMs so the £2/mth plan might be better if you don't need much data/texts allowance. (edited)

The current crop of fixed price 1yr and 2yr deals are being promoted to expire at the end of June, according to an email from RWG today.

Good luck getting any support from RWG. I raised an issue beginning of April that they're yet to resolve and they're now ignoring all emails. You can't get them on the phone either.

Talkhome Mobile do a 1p deal here they are owned by Nowmobile who RWG use. Roaming is part of your plan in the EU and selected destinations. Non-EU is super cheap 1pMB in SA. Not sure how they do it tbh. Now mobile also do a £2.50 pay as you go deal for those that don’t want to risk money up front. Think it’s 1GB and 100 mins and texts. Worth a look tbh. (edited)

Same deal was posted by OP, bless him, on 23rd March, 2023 and RWG are still here, just saying. Deal is not for you.

I suppose Saj makes this site a lot of money and he is working for free too. Bless as you say. Surely if it’s not market leading anymore as it’s the same price over again it shouldn’t be posted no? There’s a one year deal that could be posted too Saj it’s been since the 11th April so over the monthly limit of this site. £20 I think and less money lost if they go under.

RWG were blocked from their posts being included on HUKD for quite some while apparently because there was insufficient feedback on their services. I am sure more HUKDers would have got their SIM cards under their previous low usage "lifetime" SIMs for a single £5 or £15 payment if they could have been included here.

or VoLTE 4g voice calling so you don't get the same coverage as EE or 1p mobile users get. That's the main reason I won't go with RWG until they get that sorted.

Bought a 5 yr data sim, and it lasted a week. A month later and its still not connecting.
Seems like cs will respond if they know what the issue is. If they don't have an answer then they ghost you. Not acceptable.

Does anyone in here know the number command to increase delay before call goes to voicemail. I tried to invent several of my own commands based on other phone companies using "269" (and the longer full number version ending in 269), but it seems stuck on 20 seconds whatever I try (I want 30 secs). Read the support on these guys. They keep putting prices up but do not have the staff to handle the customer services.

Been with them for almost two years. I paid them a one off £15.00 for life (no more payments), and not had any real issue with them. In other words, you are wrong.

Can anyone with RWG paying monthly confirm whether you can pause your tariff online, or does it need an email to customer services? Lebara has a 'switch' on your dashboard - is there something similar? Thanks.

I'm on the £20 for life deal. I found their customer service really responsive. It was a technical issue and got regular, sensible, replies to my email queries.

Not the cut-and-paste chat GPT nonsense you get from some companies.

Use NowMobile or talkhome mobile instead. Similar deals but not locked in the cash for two years. (edited)
    UKScottDeals's avatar
    UKScottDeals
Locked in for pennies. Even the £45 deal is barely over £2 a month, paid upfront. You aren't locked in as you can simply leave at any point (but you won't get your pennies paid up front back).

I recieved a call from a friend currently in france and it worked. No credit on the sim.

"This"? You can select the EU roaming or non-roaming version at the order page. They also claim that even the non roaming version requires a top up, but maybe that's only for non EU locations. (edited)

    Hi.

What happens please if you run out of your allowance in a month?

Do they charge you extra or you just can't call for example.

    Many thanks

I guess 5p per min, 5p per sms, 1p per MB or alternatively you buy an ADD-ON.
