Wouldn’t buy this unless someone said it was fabulous.

I’d wait for other companies to complete. We might get a tablet under £300

Buying direct from Apple is the best thing cos when your iPad is out of warranty Apple is more likely to help you than other companies for sake of 20 quid.

better off buying an Air 5 on ebay for the same/little more as it's better in every way, even an Air 4

Isn't the air 4 practically the same. Agree the air 5 would be better if you can get it for a similar price. The issue you have is a lot of them are pre-owned and you don't know the quality of the battery or whether it has been repaired until you receive it

No thanks, greedy Apple! 64gb base memory not enough in 2024 and £150 (42% of base price) for the next upgrade missing the logical 128gb completely!

depends what you do with it, My 2018 ipad pro only has 65gb with 50gb used and a lot of apps I no longer used that could be deleted

my OH and both grand kids have 10th gen 64gb and none of them are close to 50% of the storage, all the stuff they do is cloud based, like a chromebook

I know it wasn’t updated today but this one is highly likely to get updated in 4-5 months time

Apple shipped 12 million tablets in 2024 Q1, they generate roughly $7 billion dollars in iPad revenue each year. It won't be going away anytime soon.

Best in class power and plenty of storage. But its funny I ended up prefering the galaxy tab s9 fe over this because web browsing is smoother on a 90hz screen and android web browsers or android in general has faster and better scrolling. If your a big tablet gamer though this would be a better choice. (edited)

I’m a fan of Apple products but I can’t believe they still make iPads with 64GB.

Mine arrived today, lovely device very pleased

It’s tempting but I’m wary of buying anything but an M-chip device now.

That said, this will be sufficient for pretty much anything I’d realistically want to use it for

The A series of chips are Apple Silicon too... the M1, M2, M3 etc was just used initially to differentiate clearly from Intel-supported macbooks.

students and education staff can also buy it at this price from UNiDAYS

I would prefer to future-proof my iPad so I wouldn’t be getting a 64GB model.

    Oh well well well!!!

Better off buying an Air 5 for around the same price on eBay
