Honestly can't say I find this that good a deal, regularly you see 5.0ah batteries at 2 for about 100 quid and a good 5.0ah fast charger is on sale for 34 notes me personally id rather spend the extra 15 quid and have 10ah worth of power and a recharge rate of 5.0ah then this with is 6.0ah worth of power at peak 4.0ah charge dropping to 2ah if dual charging... Honestly don't see the point of this dual charger if it's dropping the recharge rate, you might as well have a single 4.0ah charger that would take half the time and then swap out the dead battery

Yes I know the 5.0ah are not currently 100 but they infrequently are. But still you can get 2x4.0ah for 99 currently that's still more power and a higher charge rate.

Also worth noting these small 2.0ah battery's are useless for high energy drain tools like the circ saw, router, planner etc

FYI for anyone interest in my option the more feasible option this is £134.00 direct from Ryobi I'm sure if you shop around you can save some extra pennys

I've started to use these small and light 2 and 2.5 Ah batteries in the compact HP drills and nailers as it makes them so much better to use.

And the new 4Ah batteries are better than the standard 5Ah batteries for powering the HP high drain tools.

So it's not all about having cheaper high capacity batteries.

I agree the big batteries have a nice appeal for longevity but working above your head all day with a 5ah vs 2 and I know what your arms and shoulders would say.

Agreed with that - but I probably have enough of the lower capacity batteries acquired through kits - expect this would be the same for most. The option provided by Mark_Flanagan above appeals to what I need more of
