Ok the first two are native 4k as the original was shot on 35mm film , the rest are only upscaled as they were shot using 2k di..

Hopefully we’ll all be able to struggle through this travesty.

Got these on the last deal. I’ve watched them in HD over the years, the coming of 4K Dolby Vision really improves these films, so much was lost in the dark scenes for me in past setups, it’s amazing the clarity these copies bring.   I completely recommend them at this price.  (edited)

It was such a shame that as the books got bigger the movies seemed to run for a shorter and shorter amount of time. So much key plot was just chucked out.

Fingers crossed the upcoming TV Series corrects this.

I am tempted though, £24.99 seems like a good price.

Oh I don’t know…I think they made some excellent decisions on cuts for the movies. I’m just reading Goblet of Fire again and it does drag on a bit. There’s a lot of padding. The House Elf rights storyline for example is a yawn.

That said the story cuts in Half Blood Prince were really bad. They ripped the heart out of that one by dropping the Tom Riddle family history.

Feel like weeping. I bought this set over a year ago for the 'bargain price' of £34.99. Still haven't got round to watching them.

Not real 4K. Sure, the resolution might be there, but the bitrate will be so poor, you might as well watch 1080p.

Is this based on an actual viewing? Genuine question, not trolling.

Extended edition of the 2nd Movie is included as an iTunes Extra.
Currently the Extended Edition to the 1st movie is only available in the US, keep living in hope they’ll also add it to the UK eventually.

Is there any way to gift this?

Annoyingly it looks like not. When you select an individual movie and click the “share button” there is an option to either gift or add to wish list. But not when viewing the bundle. Seems like a missed opp by apple

Perhaps a stupid question but where can these be watched? Just purchased my daughter an Amazon Kindle fire, and she has a roku tv stick as well as us having Sky Q. If purchased on iTunes, are these watchable anywhere? Or would we need to use a laptop or dedicated Apple TV device?

Oh, just noticed it’s the same price on Amazon Video! Might be the safer option. Anyone know of any downsides to Amazon vs iTunes though?

Thanks OP, seeing as we're not going to get to stream these on HBO max until at least 2025, this is a good price

How much better is this than the Blu-ray collection? Is the 4k and HDR worth the price?
