    Soon Amazon will be launching it's own OS Vega will no longer be able to install 3rd party apps on Gen3 sticks/box they're going to lose millions of sales

    I mean, they [Amazon] could do all of that but then I could give all my money to Trump and run through the street naked. I think they like money too much to lock it down. Also, if you look at their tech roadmap for security updates, they have committed to all current firesticks through to 2027. All bets are off on any new devices they release or what happens across the board in 2028. I'd bet we are good for a while yet

    My Firestick 4k Max is plenty fast enough. It's not Apple TV level fluid, but there's no pauses/stuttering. I'd be happy with it if it wasn't for the relentless advertising Amazon added since I bought it.
