About this deal

The AVF Twist 1250" TV Stand is the perfect complement for any family room. Choose the height and between four shelf colours - walnut, oak, white, or black - to match your room. If you decide to redecorate, both the height and shelf colour are easily changeable, so that you can watch your television at a comfortable height with a stand that matches the room. You just need to switch the shelf panel with another of the included shelves.

The open design keeps your AV equipment from overheating so that you can play Halo all night long

I'd have bought myself but it was too long for my alcove. Still a good price despite the nasty delivery charge. Have fun assembling

Strange, not the first time Currys have offered an AVF stand at a really low price but then charged a high amount for delivery.

Dimensions too large for standard courier price I suspect.
Plus it has large sheets of glass.
Anyone buying this, please take it to a post office and ask for a quote!

Shame not available for collection as delivery cost is high but these seem to retail a lot higher price looking at the other AVF models (edited)

Rather randomly, a Saturday delivery is £5 cheaper but £25 quid delivery is absurd.

    I’m still tempted though

Does a big avr fit in these? Didn’t know finding a decent stand that can house an avr was going to be this difficult!

Nightmare isn't it? Ikea Besta, very expensive or go bespoke, with little else other than house it elsewhere if you've the space. You find ones that can accommodate the height then the depth rules them out.

They're mostly designed for nothing but a sound bar these days, unless you spend more than many AVRs cost.

I have something similar. These look great but not practical as wires will be on show.
