Not a bad shoe for a beginner but another one to try is the Ghost as it's usually discounted and has a softer ride

Do they fit small to size or normal? Tempting to get size up but returning isn't free 😔

Generally Brooks shoes are true to size as the toe box is wider than say Asics

Always thought very highly of Brooks running shoes, I’ve been wearing them for years now and had no problems

Over the years I've had numerous Brooks Ghosts and I've never had any issues with them. To be honest they'll last a lot longer than other brands of shoes. Just bought a pair of Hyperion Max and I'll think I'll love them once they break in a bit.
