This is a bargain. I normally pay £1 for a small jar of supermarket branded pesto, so I'm getting 2 free here by comparison.

The green pesto next to it was either £6.99 or £7.99 so a big difference. I thought the label was wrong so I did check before buying and it was £1.97.

Seems to be national. Last item on the receipt for proof if required.

Took 2 packs, plenty left on the shelf 👌🏼

FYI, with regards to Costco, when a price ends with "7", usually "97", that means the item is reduced to clear, mostly it's coz it's end of season like for clothing, and sometimes the food item might be close to being out of date.

Ooh okay. Thanks! Best before is over a year so they must be getting rid! Which is a shame as I can't stomach green pesto

The photo shows 12.07.2025. it's also the same date on rims of lids. It is pesto, it's similar to a sauce and it can be used on pasta yes. It can also be used on other things .
