    If you don't already own a jumper pack for the price these are it's a bargain. I've had one for almost 8 years now before everybody jumped on the bandwagon and mines still going strong, used it absolutely loads of times to help people out

    Would this start a reasonable sized diesel engine (eg 2.0l and upwards)? I believe some of them struggle with bigger diesels.

    Yes it would be fine,mine starts my 2.3 diesel no probs but only quick 3 second bursts to protect battery life.
