Had this and it broke just after the 2 year mark - the humidity sensor stopped reading the humidity accurately so it would never fire up.

Bought a Meaco with a longer warranty instead.

I'd recommend 16L by daewoo instead, looks fantastic, works great and cheaper. Top rated one on Which for within this price range, better rated than Meaco.

Anyone know if a smart plug can be used with this one? I.e. can power come on to the unit when it is switched on at all or does it force you to press a button
