Good long date of mid June if unopened and kept chilled. Presume will be National in Asda as long as they have stock with bar code ending 3437. There was other stock with a different bar code in Shirley,Solihull (chiller cap end towards back of shop at 2pm 07/04/24) dated Oct but that scanned at £1.65 even though stock was mixed in with 3437 (I asked Staff to move it whilst I was there!).

100% Plant! That sounds lovely, can't imagine why it's reduced to 10p

I tried these and I thought they tasted awful. We ended up throwing the rest away, including the unopened pack. Nothing like real brandy cream. (edited)

Just used the last one of 12 we bought for 1p each in SAINS. after Christmas made a lovely flavour to wifes home made rice pudding and had no problems with taste with other things we tried them with.

I got some of this reduced in January. Wasn't expecting much because normal Elmlea is awful. But this was much better. I quite liked it. Worked well with my reduced mince pies.

Still have mine purchased at Christmas for the same price. I better check the expiry date. When my wife asked why I've got this, the answer was 'coz it is £0.10' . She was right, a deal is not a good deal regardless of how cheap it is, if you don't need the product.

Is this meant to be a healthy alternative with 31% oil
    Shonk's avatar
Nobody said its a healthy alternative

They want you to think that by putting plant based on it
But in reality its alot cheaper to make than real cream so more proffit

The same as low fat means high sugar
    &
Low Sugar means high fat on foods

and i wont go into what "protein pot" and such is going to turn into in the next few years
it will put you off your breakfast

Suffice to say keep an eye on whats in anything with "Protein" written on it in the next few years
