Not that it helps but there were around half a dozen bottles left earlier today in Milton Keynes Westcroft Morrison’s. Picked one up but not tried it yet...

Lawlost

How does it compare to Chase marmalade vodka?

steve101076

Do not buy this at any cost. I did last night and for some reason I feel dreadful this morning :/

don1985

I’m fine with it being trendy as great Gin keeps popping up for £20 per bottle. I haven’t tried this but it sounds great. Heat.

i do reminesce of the days when i drunk gin before it became trendy.

Having bought and returned several similar items from Amazon ,I know how shocking is their Chinese size and Chinese quality. Amazon is good for electronics etc or well known branded goods but I bet this will leave a bad taste in your mouth when you receive it.

nougat

They are a practical size for someone who isn't an alcoholic, drinking bourbon from a pint glass or bottle is a bad health choice.Better go to AA for quality help you check in front of you before buying

kevcrawfy

150ml tin of tonic 50ml shot of gin 100ml worth of ice =300ml glass - perfect fit in my opinion (y)

sam_of_london

When they come, they only fit for Dolls house. I just hate Amazon for misleading photos and miniature size objects. It may fit in a small Amazon parcel but not of any practical use. Better go to TK Maxx for quality glasses you check in front of you before buying.

It's also worth pointing out that the spirit brand was announced late 2016, while the bar didn't open until February 2017. It was one of those random coincidences. The timing was unfortunate for the bar as yes, in this instance, BrewDog was the "big" player. It was plausible that the bar could have drawn inspiration from the spirit brand. The inverse seems unlikely. Whether a true account or not, James Watt's explanation is perfectly reasonable. A lawyer thought the bar was ripping off their recently launched spirit brand. Stepping back, it seemed evident that coincidence was the cause. The biggest tragedy for the bar isn't really the (in the end, self-imposed) loss of the name. It's the fact that they completely failed to play up to the opportunity dealt to them by the controversy. If you flipped this round the other way, you know BrewDog would have milked the incident for every possible bit of exposure. Its why they've been so successful. Instead, the bar owners have taken the whole thing very personally.

I didn’t see it at Christmas, but bought a couple of bottles in Tesco last week and liked it so much I bought some more in Waitrose 2 days ago, so it must be available again. Mind you with the new sugar tax it’s £1.80 a bottle!

kristmace

Aldi Gin is a tenner for 700ml. It's £15 for 1 litre which is hardly much difference. I wouldn't say it's infinitely nicer either. A really close flavour to Gordon's. Both of these are not top shelf gins by any means, but offer really good value.

Fluffykins

All I need to do is get a few bottles then wait for the sloes to ripen this autumn. H'mmm. Maybe some blackberries too. Then the used fruit gets put into some flooring grade red wine THEN make fruit jelly out of the leavings. At least it takes the edge off winter

Tanqueray Sevilla. Asda Colchester never had this. Plenty of space on the shelf for it but never been in stock. Showed stock for home delivery but when delivery arrived it was missing the two bottles of this I had ordered. As order was only for three bottles of gin This x two and the Chase driver just had one bottle as a delivery.
Just popped into Asda for some cheap nappies and ended up in the gin aisle (As you do!)
It's always worth pulling this stunt to see other people's faces. Fill your trolley with alcohol, then put a packet of nappies on top, when you get to the check out whatever the total is say "Oh, I haven't got enough" and remove the nappies. You'll be surrounded by tutting people, it's excellent. :)

If you like their beer then try finding some "Spirit of Broadside"... which is literally their Broadside dark ale, one of my favourites, put through their distillation process (shock) . It's unique, but possibly an acquired taste!

Kittycatcat

We have gone through 3 bottles since Xmas!! As well as some Slingsby Rhubarb Gin which is pricey but the rhubarb flavour comes through nicely. We ususally have elderflower tonic or the fentimans rose lemonade, wow!! Delicious

Gavin1980

Delish! Tastes like refreshers (lol)

JayDubya

This is rhubarb AND ginger. I got some at Christmas and I was disappointed. Barely any rhubarb flavour, and it was really sickly, synthetic almost. It's still in the cupboard - not a good sign in our house!

chezvegas85

Rose lemonade usually the best flavour to mix with rhubarb gin (although very pricey). Much cheaper to make your own rhubarb gin if you have rhubarb going cheap, easy to do.

ndempsey

I couldn't find it online when placing my order, not sure if I only see my local branch who deliver. The plain bottle, however, was also down to £22.
