    £1.25 a can for what is a cheap beer in Spain. This is up there with San Miguel.

    Is this the 5.4% spanish import stuff ?
    500 ml cans tend to be the size sold in spain .
    Although the normal stuff sold in the uk is 4.6%, its still brewed properly in spain.
    San miguel at 5% and brewed here is still also good.
    In my eyes any beer brewed with glucose syrup or any other brewing accelerator is the cheap and nasty stuff . The Spanish lagers tend to be brewed similar to the German ones with only water plus barley hops and yeast in their ingredients.

    No, it's 4.6% UK version as stated above, though still brewed in BCN. I stocked up on this a few weeks ago- long since gone from our Lidl.
    Pity we can't get Voll Damm over here (7.2%, always good when you have had a bad day at work),
