    I've got this machine & it's great. That's a bargain at that price 🔥

I have this as well. Do you think it's worth to get another one just to stock up on pods? Then sell it or something?

So what pods can this use ?

Original Nespresso pods plus proprietary L'or XXL pods. It is not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo.

I've had this for a few months now and it's been great, but recently I'm having to do a "water shot" (running the machine without a pod in) before adding the pod and making the coffee, otherwise the temperature of the drink is too low. This is a bit annoying.

I always do a “water shot” first to warm the cup up then about a minute later do a proper shot. Always comes out nice and hot

Does that mean it's £2.50 per coffee pod? That's a pretty expensive home brew

Very curious to know how you got to this calculation

None of this compares to the Nespresso pods which are packed properly and deliver a drink that can't be replicated by these counterfeits

You should really try coffee from different roasters as the quality of coffee used actually improves and can also be cheaper. Try GRIND (dark roast), also Rave and Roar Gill.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Great deal, thanks. This machine was £60 on Amazon recently without pods. For £20 you are getting 200 pods which works out at 10p a pod. 20 of these are decaf, but another 20 are the xxl pods

This is decent deal only thing is machine is big and chunky so no good for my tiny kitchen unfortunately

If you don't mind buying stuff that's very near its BB date, Discount Dragon often sell pods for this machine for £1.50ish.

Love the Lor pods, just as good as the originals in my opinion.

Does anyone know if this can make larger coffees or is it just best for espressos? And would a normal size mug fit on the stand?
    sedwards77's avatar
Yes, you can use this for Lungo's which are larger - 2 lungo pods will fill a mug (this is what I tend to do), or you can use one XXL L'or Lungo pod. The machine fits mugs easily on the stand as well.

Why is the milk frother £60 any idea seems a bit of a joke
