About this deal

Enjoy a FREE day out for 2 to National Trust England or Scotland by redeeming 6000 octplus reward points

Existing customers need to login to accounts via a browser not App

Octoplus is available to all households who get their electricity supplied by Octopus, or sign up with the supplier. You must also have a smart meter fitted and pay via direct debit. The scheme doesn’t require you to be on a particular tariff. To sign up for it, head to the Octopus Energy website.

Once you’ve joined, you will be able to earn rewards for taking part in Saving Sessions (more on this below). These events only apply to electricity usage as there is no gas equivalent of the Demand Flexibility Service.
Octopus Energy More details at
Octopus Energy has currently £50 credit for you and the referrer when you sign up with Octopus Energy campaign, if you want to use it you can do so from this .

Has anyone EVER won anything on their free spin nonsense?
I've been with them like forever and have never got anything

You don’t have to use the points you earn for rewards you can redeem them for cash of your bill.

I have been a customer for just a year and redeemed points earned for approximately 4 days of my average electricity consumption. Granted not a lot but anything is a bonus these days.

There is also the benefit to the grid if you try and reduce your usage when the Octoplus savings hour are announced.  (edited)

My octopus electric smart meter stopped sending readings to my ihd in Aug 2023...they haven't bothered to send an engineer out still ! You pay them for energy but they try their hardest to do as little as possible to fix anything (edited)

Octopus have been fantastic when I have had any issues. The only company where I have managed to get through to talk to someone on the phone straight away and even better, someone who actually speaks english and can help me rather than being completely useless.

well you can use the points and convert them to money off your bill instead.. not sure what your gripe is really.

Ah so that's where the increase in standing charges for electric is going. From 47p a day to 60p.

They usually do free family passes at some point. Just wait for one of them to drop.

I'm sure people would rather have the cost of this coming off their bill.

Been with them for donkeys never won a penny. They keep getting me try and sign up to a fixed rate deal.. Which is barely anything different to the flexible rate..

At the end of the day it's a bit of a monopoly now the energy industry, just how octopus like it.
All competitors have been wiped out, the plan has been executed perfectly 👌🏻

Been in an ombudsman dispute with them since last may over £7000 since the ombudsman decision that they chose to accept, otherwise they would have have appealed. They have taken donkeys to implement the decision and we’re still playing email ping pong over the amount.
