    I own one of these and here's my feedback. The battery lasts around 20 days on normal usage with no GPS. The solar charging is not great, you don't get infinite battery as I was hoping, at least during the summer when you wear just a T-shirt. I had mine swapped under warranty because of this and still the same result so I guess this is it.

    The solar charging on any of the solar Garmin is purely there to slow the discharge rate and extend the watch battery not to actually charge it up.
