RRP: £349. The pixel watch 2 is way better than the pixel watch. For example, the battery life is so much better than the old one. Incredible price for one of these.

    I don't get the use-case for these WearOS watches.

    Appreciate there's major differences in functionality, but having lived with 14-day battery life of Garmin watches I just couldn't make the sacrifice of having to take a watch off every day or two for a lengthy charge.

    You're never without a phone long enough to make these watches worth the compromise in battery life. Especially if you're into collecting sleep/heart/exercise data, when you need the watch the most you're going to be charging it.

    The battery life and long charging time is what is putting me off the Pixel Watch 2. I currently have an old Fitbit Versa 3 and while it has some annoyances (synching often fails, sleep tracking is terrible), I can still get 3 days out of a full charge and it only takes 10-15 mins to recharge - so stick it on to charge while getting ready in the morning and it's good to go.

    Ive got a pixel watch 1,its fine but if you doubled or tripled the battery life it still wouldn't be impressive compared to samsung/huawei equivalents,it has fitbit built in but hey you gotta pay a monthly subscription for premium features.obviously having a google pixel phone it all links up nicely with notifications,google wallet etc but the health tracking is no better than the huawei watch i used to have with my p30 pro.still seems overpriced to me.rant over😄

    "Can i add my 1p also Pixel 1 watch Rubbish battery life.... The plastic/ rubber strap causes blisters of skin ( they did send me another leather strap). The worst...their own app..i thought originally that the Google fit app would become more advanced... I was wrong... Better of with Samsung pro watch 5 is nearly half of the price...!" (edited)

    Battery is pretty good compared to the 1st gen I had. The Pixel Watch 2 lasts me around 2 days. Charged to 100% yesterday and currently on 64%

    Saying that, I don't use it for regular exercise tracking etc. Your mileage may vary

    Really like the look of the Pixel Watch 2, but the glass display really puts me off. Others may want to consider the Samsung Watch6 with a sapphire display which is usually cheaper than this too...

    made the switch from pixel watch (gen 1) to the new xioami watch 2. No regrets. Under 150 quid and easily get 2 days from it (tilt to wake=off)
    Charging - much faster (despite larger battery)
    Screen - bigger and better, no curve - just flat
    Wear OS - OK, it ships with v3.5 but had no issues

    The only plus I'd give the pixel - is the speaker position over the xioami but that's a minor gripe.
