    Not a great deal. The 6800 you can get for between £345-360.

    I was going to rerun mine for this but the 6800 is better from most reviews.

    Amazing how the 6800 was released in 2020 and still going strong.

    6800 is good too, they perform much the same but I think it's a good price for a 7000 series card, it's much more expensive everywhere else.

    I have a 6750 XT myself. 6000 series cards are still great too.

    Bought this a month or two back (I wrote the review there).

    I used the new customer 20% off so got it rather cheaper than this, but you might not be able to do the same.

    I'm still very happy with it - I dismissed the 6800 options as I wanted the AV1 support, and longer support lifespan - plus all the benchmarks I could find indicated the 7700 xt was faster in COD, and overclocks very well (i still haven't needed to try).

    Yeah I know the 6800 is a good card I've had one, but it doesn't really make sense to buy one over this given the AV1 support and the other stuff you mention, unless you got a really killer deal on a 6800, I would certainly favour this at the same price as a 6800. (edited)

    If you already have a 3070 it wouldn't really be worth upgrading, but the 7700xt benchmarks around 10% better in most games.

    I've got a R5 3600 CPU. Would this pair with it ok or would the CPU be a bottle neck ?

    Might get away with 1440p maybe, 1080p will have a bottleneck.
