Is it or was your tyre just too badly damaged to take the sealant fix?

Recently took a toyota in for a service and the rubber solution in the tyre kit had got past its use by date (6 years) so they quoted me £160 for a replacement kit , what a joke oh and did i mention £350 to update Sat Nav. Some of these car manufacturers are ripping the Azz out of prices.

Thanks OP.for £5 just bought 1 to try on L200.....I recall this from BBC Tomorrows World in the 70's as a new development - a guy from Wales. The rights were promptly bought from him by the Big Tyre companies and shelved for decades so as not to affect their profits. That was the newspaper stories - and they never tell fibs. (edited)

Thanks bought one for my Peugeot which doesn't have a spare tyre which I think is stupid not to carry a spare tyre. I think all cars should carry a spare tyre its like using a smart motorways without an emergency stop lane dumbest idea ever!

Good stuff, helped to seal a hairline crack in my alloy, lasted quite along time too.

Everyone should have a can of this in their vehicle.

Motorway Service station will charge £20+ for a can of this stuff (edited)
