About this deal

Update 1
May come with a non-UK plug / adapter.
This thing looks fantastic for this price point. I've just watched a couple of videos, which you'll find below if you wanted to check it out. This is the Thomann 70th anniversary model and the price is way lower than the standard, which is the same other than the colour, as far as I can tell.

Important:
This doesn't look to ship with a UK plug though, so you will likely have to buy the correct one, which shouldn't be expensive at all.

Delivery is free.

The comparison with the Anderton's deal isn't totally valid because the Andertons one is the original Ampero with the SHARC processor whereas this has a second NXT processor instead, which is probably a bit cheaper.
They claim it is "non-inferior" and they might be right or they might not, I certainly don't know. Reviews claim this model has higher latency due to it.
I would be suspicious of them being the same power, otherwise why wouldn't they have just used 2 NXTs in the first place rather than a SHARC and an NXT.

Good price for what it is though.

Whoa, a mention of any noticeable latency is enough to put me off. I did listen to some of the tones and I can’t say I’m impressed. Gonna have to pass. Good deal though for what is a cheap effects processor though.

I'm really tempted by it. I don't really need it though... (edited)

Had to bite, cheers OP I’ve not got the space to setup my amps and such at the moment, so I’m hoping that with the amp and speaker modelling, I can plug this into my studio monitors on my desk and still get a half-decent sound for lunchtime jams.

Also, for anyone concerned, it looks like it uses a standard cloverleaf power cord. You can pick them up on eBay and Amazon for ~£5 if you don’t already have one or, so what I’m planning to do and salvage the UK plug head off an old appliance, cut the head off the cable that comes with it and change it to UK. Honestly, not a big job or, yknow, plug adapter, even smaller job! (edited)

    Hot One or Ho Tone?

This seems to be going against the Valeton, but this has touch screen, which is always a bonus. (edited)

After playing with this for a week I feel it is a great piece of kit for the money. Not to many of the pre-sets worked for me but editing is super easy. Drum machine is a nice touch and the looper function works well. Cheers again Ken.
