where does it say in the terms and conditions that its weekend only?
Because they don't pay the staff enough. If they paid them more they would be able to say "please clean tables well or you might lose your job" but currently they think "well it was here or wetherspoons and I cgaf". Just make it a tenner an hour and people will want the jobs and be happy there.
The Bridge Builder at Telford, is nice, we were there this afternoon, Steve the server showed us to our table which was clean but still went and gave it another wipe over and it was not sticky, nice food as well.
Stay away from Chelmsford ones then. Sticky table is least of your concerns. The one at great baddow the manager was rude as anything. She put 2 puddings through instead of one when I noticed and asked about the bill she turned round and told me, that I’d asked for 2 in the grumpiest voice then gave a refund that still wasn’t enough. Then waddled off to the kitchen in a huff to tell them not to bother. Overpaid by about £2. It’s only £2 but hardly the point. None of the people dishing food out had any manners or great attitude, although if their manger is the way she is it’s hardly surprising. Honestly it’s £15 cos it’s for the people on benefits that they want as the customers. The ones that you look at and can already tell the kids have no hope. I won’t go back if it’s £10.
They also use the same cloth to clean multiple tables (mad)
