Got EDIT: one of the model without a scroll ring for a client that, due to Alzheimer's, couldn't use a touchpad anymore.

The callout was because "his laptop was malfunctioning", but it was actually his loss of fine motor control. He was triggering the multi-touch stuff on the trackpad with other fingers while trying to move the cursor, and the shakes in his hand was stopping him from double-clicking on things because the first and second click were too far apart. (Both settings are adjustable, but even with them adjusted it wasn't enough.)

Switching to one of these was a huge improvement and will let him maintain more independence, hopefully for years to come!

Something to note is the only thing holding the ball in is gravity. If someone goes to move it and tips it over, that ball is gone. Fine if it's staying permanently on a desk though.

Great price for a great piece of kit. Thanks ! (edited)
