Welcome to the first post for any Legator guitar
They're typically an expensive option to go for, but these prices make them more accessible.
The ones here are 7 string multiscale instruments, which may be a tad niche here.

I've wanted a Lagator for years, but ended up with an Ibanez Premium, solely because the prices were much better at the time. Hopefully we see more Legator deals come alone, with a bit more for us 6 stringers. Will keep an eye out, as they are beautiful!

Never tried one out in person, but I'm itching to

Legator guitars started in 2012 in California, USA. Since then the company has been consistently offering access to many modern design features that were often boutique or limited in accessibility, or finishes. Headless guitars and multi-scale guitars are a main-stay in the Legator guitars lineup alongside more traditional but still thoroughly modern designs.

Never tried a factory made multiscale. Any good? Intonation issues etc over a bespoke instrument?

Intonation is still a thing just like any other guitar, the advantage is string tension (often thicker strings on the lower end) is better and added comfort for extended ranges - the shape your hand makes as it moves up the neck angles with the frets. Certainly for 8 string and above multiscale makes playing more comfortable.

Having owned 3 legators they're nice guitars (a 7, 8 and 9 string) - some lasting disdain for their previous practices in the past and some QC issues.

This model's pickups are pretty poor, at this price range if they were sticking some decent pickups in them they'd be really good. If replaced you've got yourself a decent 7 multiscale.

That said... If you plan to do this you may as well just buy an Ibanez Axion (edited)
