Been running the similar Duet 5 for a year now and absolutely love it. The 7c isn't the fastest, but you can get 14 hours of media playback, without having to turn the brightness right down etc. Also has support from Google to 2032!

As a secondary, on the move device it's hard to complian. Not to be confused with the original Duet which is wayyyyy slower than this.

The 7c seems to support Chrome OS really well, I got one of these Duet 3's in the 4GB version at Amazon Warehouse the other day on the cheap and it's much quicker than the older Duet as you said.

Had my eye on this for a while, can't decide on this of the honor x9 pad other than the obvious key board difference which is better, would be using for web browsing emails, light work, streaming, FM Tia

I find Chrome os to be a bit more limited compared to android, apps tend to get less support and tweaking to work well on chromeOS. X9 would probably be a better choice however Samsung A9+ tab 8gb/128gb is £203 via perks at work and also supports Dex/desktop mode which imo is the best tablet desktop experience available ex windows when attaching a keyboard and mouse
