    I picked it up on AliExpress about a month ago for around 170 quid. Very nice upgrade from my 3600. Tried to post the deal here but seller didn't have the right feedback.

    I'm unsure if your case is big enough for this you'll have to check dimensions against the clearance in your case.

    Bit the bullet and went with the 5800X3D for £260 on Amazon. Was heavily considering the 5700X3D for £230 but decided i can spend the extra 30 quid for slightly better performance.

    Would have jumped on this without a second though if it was just 2 weeks earlier.

    Anyone know if the wraith prism currently on my 3700X will be fine for this? Or should I get something beefier?

    I'd probably say it will be fine, but a better cooler will be well...better. I don't think you'll be thermal throttling on a wraith prism unless you're in a real hotbox of a PC case.

    my recent exerpaince with ali express from the anniversary sale..
    bought 3060ti for £193 from a random Ali store , plus £40 + £8 customs and vat - delivered in 3 weeks (customs had it for a week after id paid it before passing to royal mail)
    bought 5700x3d for £143 from "the comet crash global store", but there wasnt any additional customs or vat charge - delivered after like 5 weeks
    So £384 for a new 3060ti and 5700x3d - i am very pleased to say the least ! Can also claw some of that back selling my 3700x and RTX 2060

    I've got a Gigabyte x570S UD with R5 3600. Can anyone tell me if 5800x3d will cook VRM??? It's only 50A 12 phases with doublers, so in fact only 6 phase board. what do you think?
